Here's an image I created using Ulead's Photo Impact software. Trust me, I don't do graphics, so if I made it, it had to be simple!
After installing CuteMAP, I clicked on File -> NewMap and browsed to locate and select my image. Here's what the CuteMAP screen looks like:
