How do I configure BLaunch?
How do I install BLaunch?   ·   How do I configure BLaunch?   ·   How do I use BLaunch?
Solution:

Here are some easy step by step instructions for configuring BLaunch to be used with your CuteSITE Builder or Trellix Web .tlx file,

Please note: I will assume that your CSB .tlx file is located within the 'My Documents' folder on your computer. For these instructions, my CSB file is called MyWebSite.tlx.

1. If you have not done so, click here for step by step instructions for downloading and installing BLaunch to your computer

2. Before running BLaunch, you will want to make a new folder on your computer to store your backups. For this example, I've created a folder called 'BackupFiles' within 'My Documents' folder.

3. Now, start BLaunch by clicking on the BLaunch icon on your desktop.

4. The very first time you use BLaunch it will display a message saying that no INI settings were found. Go ahead and click OK.

3. You should then see the BLaunch main window.

4. First thing we need to do is to tell BLaunch where to find our Backup folder we just created (in step 2). So, go ahead and click on the Backup Folder button.

5. The Browse for Folder window will display.

6. Click on the + symbol next to My Documents, and then click to highlight (select ) the BackupFiles folder we created. Then click OK.

7. Now, go down to the section of the BLaunch window that displays a list of files, folders and disk drives. You should see your .tlx file listed. If so, go ahead and click on it once to highlight it.

8. Then, click on the 'make launcher' button.

9. When you do so, a window will appear with a list of '.bl9' files to select from to be used to create your shortcut. I would always suggest to select the first file that is displayed, and then click OK.

10. After clicking OK, a window displays telling you that the shortcut file has been created. Go ahead and click OK.

11. Then click on EXIT to close BLauncher. Two interim windows will display letting you know that BLauncher is saving your settings.

12. After exiting, BLaunch, go to your 'My Documents' folder, locate your .bl9 file that was just created

13. Right click on your .bl9 file, and then click on Copy.  Then go to your Windows desktop, right click on a blank part of your desktop, and click Paste. You should now have your .bl9 file on your desktop.

14. You are now ready to use BLaunch to autromatically make a copy of your .tlx file and then automatically start CuteSITE Builder (or Trellix Web).  Click here to proceed.
