How do I add a page or site counter?

Problem:     How do I add a counter to count visitors to my site?.
Solution:     Several web sites offer free tracking of visitors to your site.  Nearly all of them work the same way:

1. You sign up with the selected web site, enter your web site's URL, and select a style for your page counter.

2. They generate some HTML code for you to place on your web page.

3. Use the CuteSITE Builder (Insert > HTML Code) or TrellixWeb (Build your own web gem) feature to insert the code on your page, and publish!
EXAMPLES:

If you click on your browser's Refresh button, the counter should increment.
