April 1, 2003:
"What now, my love? Now that it's over?"
As you may now, Globalscape recently released version 4 of their CuteSITE Builder product. Unfortunately they had to quickly pull the product off the market due to serious flaws in the program. They even misspelled CuteSITE Builder, calling in BruteSITE Killer.
It amazes me that these things can happen. After all, the beta version of CuteSITE Builder was out for several weeks. Didn't anyone take the time to download the beta and test it?
So, once again, a few people have had to do the work for so many others. This is my third year with providing support on this product. Frankly, I'm getting tired of it all. Just take a look around and see what's happened in just the past year.
Lianna came on strong, but then decided to pick up and run when another female, Samantha, showed up.
Then we started to see some posts from a real Globalscape person -- ehall. And what did he bring to the table? Not the inside technical help I would have expected.
And then we get our usual suspect posts from users in Great Britain. I thought the Americans were bad with abbreviations! The Brits are always writing messages in some cryptic shorthand, like: "r u sure, m8?" . Geez, for awhile I thought they all had keyboards with stuck keys, or didnh't know how to use the <Shift> key to make capital letters.
Anyhow, I've decided that it's time for me to take a break from this work. It's been a labor of love, but enough is enough. Perhaps if I step back, it will get the attention of Dan Bricklin and the gang at Trellix Corporation to realize what a mess they created when they let go of this product.
So, since I hate long good-byes, I'll simply sign off with: Ciao!

Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.
Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.
