Change name of a web page

This document describes how to change the names of any individual web page published from a Trellix built web site.

By default, CSB/Trellix Web assigns a sequential, ascending ID number to each page.  When you publish your Trellix web site, each page is named with this Id#, such as: Id25.htm.  This may be acceptable for most of your web pages.

But let's say you have one page on your web site with all the latest photos from your vacation.  Wouldn't it be nicer to tell people to go to "www.mysite.com/vacation.htm" or "www.mysite.com/photos.htm" rather than telling people to go to  "www.mysite.com/id25.htm"?

Here's how to do it:

1. Create a page in CSB/Trellix Web.

2. Right click anywhere on the page, then click Properties -> Page

3. The Page Properties window appears.  Note that at the bottom of this window is the current Id# for this page (let's say 34).  If you do not make a change, then when youy publish your web site, this page will be filed as "Id34.htm"

4. Click in the Short Title field, and enter a short name for this page. I recommend making it one word, with no spaces or other special characters.  Whatever you enter, will be the name of the HTML file that is generated.  So, if you enter "photos", it will be named "photos.htm".
