Link an image to another web site

This document describes how to link an image/button on one page, so that when the visitor clicks on it, it will take you to a different web site.  It is expected that you already have your graphic image or button stored on your PC.  There is another page describing how to place a graphic image on your web page.

1. Open up your Trellix file and display the page which contains the graphic image.

Note: if the graphic image was inserted into a locked portion by going into 'Edit Page Layout', you will need to go back into Edit Page Layout to complete this process.

2. Right click on the image

3. Then click on 'Create link to Url or File'

4. A Link window opens up, with an entry field pre-loaded with:   http://

5. Click inside this entry box, and then type the URL of the web site you wish to go to when the visitor clicks on your image.  For example, if you want to go to the Cafe Trellix (cafe.trellix.com) web site, the entry field would look like this:

http://cafe.trellix.com

Hint: if you wish the new site to open up in a new browser window, enter the URL like this:

http://cafe.trellix.com "target="_blank

Example:
When you click on the image below, it will open up the Cafe Trellix web site
in a new browser window:
